Which apps are included in Office 2024 Professional Plus?
Office 2024 Professional Plus includes six desktop apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Access. Microsoft Publisher is not included in Office 2024, because Microsoft is retiring it. Teams is a separate free download and isn't part of the suite.

A practical point we often explain: Office 2024 is a "fixed" release. It gets security fixes for its supported life, but it doesn't gain new features. Many businesses prefer that, because the apps behave the same way year after year.
What are the system requirements for Office 2024?
You need a PC running Windows 11 (or Windows 10 LTSC 2021/2019) with a 1.1 GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and about 4 GB of free disk space. Regular Windows 10 Home and Pro aren't on Microsoft's supported list for Office 2024. Office 2024 Professional Plus doesn't run on macOS; Mac users need a Mac edition of Office.

How do I install and activate Office 2024 Professional Plus?
Download and install Office using the link and instructions in your order email, then enter your 25-character product key when an Office app asks for it. Before you start, uninstall any older Office version or Microsoft 365 trial. Leftover installs are the most common reason activation fails.
- Uninstall any previous Office or Microsoft 365 versions from Settings → Apps.
- Download Office 2024 Professional Plus using the link in your order email.
- Run the installer and wait for all the apps to finish installing.
- Open Word or Excel. When asked, enter the product key from your email.
- Check activation under File → Account. It should show "Product Activated".
Frequently asked questions
Is Office 2024 Professional Plus a one-time purchase?
Yes. You pay once and can keep using the apps on one PC with no subscription. Microsoft provides security updates for Office 2024 for its fixed support period. After that, the apps keep working but no longer get new fixes.
Does Office 2024 include Publisher?
No. Microsoft left Publisher out of Office 2024 because it's retiring the app. If you need Publisher, look at Office 2021 Professional Plus, which still includes it, though support for it will also end.
Can I install it on a Mac?
No. Office 2024 Professional Plus is for Windows only. Mac users need a dedicated Mac edition of Office, which uses a different product key.
Can I move Office to a new PC later?
This key is for one PC. If you replace your computer, contact our support team with your order number first. Whether a transfer is possible depends on the licence type, so ask before you uninstall from the old PC.
